Facial redness
Facial redness is treated using a pulsed dye laser. Mild to moderate swelling occurs following treatment, resolving over a few days. Most patients return to work immediately following treatment. Makeup can be applied after the procedure. More than one session is usually needed to achieve optimal results.

Chemical peels
A variety of superficial and medium depth chemical peels are used to treat facial sun damage, mottled pigmentation and acne. Downtime ranges from minimal for superficial peels, seven to ten days for medium depth peels. Chemical peels are often combined with laser and topical therapy to achieve optimal results.

Photodynamic acne therapy
Photodynamic acne therapy can significantly reduce inflammatory acne in the majority of patients. Treatment requires application of a topical product a half hour prior to treatment with a Blue Light device. Three to four treatments are typically performed every two to three weeks. Results are usually seen after the first series of treatments are completed. Maintenance treatments may be needed every four to six months. Patients often continue their topical retinoid therapy during this treatment. Chemical peels may be added to the regimen on occasion.
