Dr. Laurie L. Shinn is a board-certified adult and pediatric dermatologist. Receiving her medical training in both pediatrics and dermatology at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Shinn has been practicing with Commonwealth Dermatology since 1998. Identified as one of the premier pediatric dermatologists in the region, she also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor for Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Medicine, formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia, training doctors in residence at the Department of Dermatology and Pediatrics. Dr. Shinn has served as a speaker on pediatric dermatology topics at national and regional levels. Dr. Shinn’s current board certifications include general dermatology, pediatric dermatology and pediatrics. She is one of the only board-certified pediatric dermatologists in the region.
